WHO WE ARE?
We are the concerned residents, families, homeowners and unsilenced voices who live near the San Bernardino Airport.
We are tired parents and community members worried about the quality of jobs, development, environmental racism, and the overall health of our community.
We are the hard-working and overworked talent that keeps the logistics industry moving. The same industry that sees us as disposable, drains our resources and leaves us with low salaries, no healthcare and a bleak future.
We are a united coalition of community members, labor unions, environmental justice groups, and faith-based organizations fighting for our communities' vitality.

Homeowners are getting pressured to sell. Even if people choose not to sell, they will be encroached by more warehouses.
What options will renters have?
Not enough affordable housing available and the city of San Bernardino’s housing element is out of compliance.

According to the Airport Authority, the purpose of the AGSP is to attract the investment needed to develop the available parcels and the area as an active center for jobs and commerce but what kind of jobs will this bring? There are no standards set for the quality of the jobs that would result.
Previous city leaders had made claims that the jobs that the expansion of San Bernardino International Airport would result in, would be high paying aviation jobs. We see that is not the case. Amazon KSBD workers are earning an average of about $17/hr.
-
San Bernardino has some of the worst air quality in the country. The city is approving projects without setting any environmental standards.
Community suffers from asthma, other respiratory illnesses including cancer. Diesel exhaust contains more than 40 known cancer-causing organic substances, making it responsible for about 70% of cancer risk related to air toxins in California.
-
No restricted truck routes are currently in place, or not being enforced - We need an enforcement system that will keep them accountable and our community safe.
Roads are filled with potholes - unsafe, wear and tear on cars that create expenses not anticipated for the community.
-
The city needs to do more outreach. Community members should be informed about meetings taking place regarding proposed developments and be engaged to weigh in with their concerns.
